Our Story

ALPS was founded in 2015 in Geneva with a simple idea: change the way people move through the city. We created the world’s first triple-folding electric bike—a design so unique it’s now patented in the U.S., Europe, and China.

But ALPS has never been just another bike brand. We’re a team of riders, dreamers, and engineers who believe that mobility can be smarter, lighter, and way more fun. We bring together cycling culture, design, and technology to redefine what urban riding feels like.

Our roots run deep. The story started with Lee, whose family has been building bikes for more than 60 years. What began as craftsmanship passed down through generations has grown into a global team of innovators pushing the limits of e-bike technology.

From our home in Switzerland, ALPS has spread across Europe—Germany, Spain, France, Italy—and into Asia, with riders in Japan, Korea, Singapore, and Indonesia. No matter where you find us, the mission is the same: give people a smarter, easier way to ride.
